Seasons Restaurant, Belfast

Several months ago an old friend of ours mentioned a restaurant she had lunched at. She seemed impressed. It is called Seasons Restaurant and it is located at Woodstock Link in east Belfast. Seemingly they specialize in dry-aged sirloin steak. I see it opens for dinner from 6-10 pm during the evenings, too. I'd be interested to hear if anyone has dined there in the evening.

They have published a non-existent web address: www.seasonsrestaurant.uk.com . What, on earth, is the point of doing this before a website is up and running? Utterly pointless, if you ask me. They can be found on page 51 of the Belfast Restaurant Guide.

Incidentally, Molly's Yard, off Botanic Avenue, is not mentioned at all in this "definitive" guide. I have heard very good reports about Molly's and hope to pay them a visit shortly.

I'd be interested to know if anyone has dined in Seasons at all! Whenever Mrs Self and I pass it, usually on the way home from town or the QFT, we always remark on how badly placed it seems to be, and because of the high walls surrounding The Mount Conference Centre, inside the curtilage of which it seems to be contained, it's impossible to gain any impression of whether it's ever busy, atmospheric or even open.
